TIUsing a dummy reduces the risk of SIDS 👶
Although the reason why or how dummies provide a protective effect is not clear, there is strong evidence associated with the reduced risk of SIDS.
💜 Offer a dummy at nap times and bedtimes
💜 If breastfeeding, introduce only once breastfeeding is firmly established
💜 Babies who are not being directly breastfed can begin use as soon as you would like
💜 You do not need to reinsert it if it falls out while sleeping, as the protective effect is still observed
💜 Don't hang the pacifier around your baby's neck or attach it to their clothing when they are sleeping
