MAAt 95 years old, Frank Manheim is the oldest competitor at USMS Nationals, and now a National Champion in the 50 back and 100 free! 🏆
When asked about his secret to success, Frank shared his “principles for winning medals”:
1️⃣ “You gotta be old”
2️⃣ “You have to have support from the best remedial clinics and physical therapists”
3️⃣ “This is the most important. You gotta finish the race”
Fun fact: In Masters Swimming, you can legally swim any stroke in a freestyle race! Frank did just that, mixing both back and free during his 100m race.
Frank’s story is a reminder that passion for swimming doesn’t fade with age, it continues to deepen. 💙
