Watch the precision and skill needed for T-budding, one of the many grafting techniques used for propagation in vineyards around the world. A bud is inserted into the ‘T’ shaped cut on the rootstock, then is monitored for growth. It’s a preferred method when grafting onto mature rootstocks, which will have a wider circumference. Avec la tarrière fixée au tracteur, nous arrachons les ceps malades/morts, pour redonner vie à la parcelle. Ces emplacements accueilleront de jeunes vignes dès le printemps prochain 🍇✨.
