here’s three pro tips to achieve the perfect bun !
1: braiding hair to natural hair ratio is off. You need to determine how much braiding hair you need to use for the bun depending on the thickness of your clients hair. You don’t want to use too much braiding hair or the bun will be too big or too little because it won’t be big enough.
2: The length of the braiding hair is very important. I only use the 48 inch pre-scratch expression hair.
I like to split the braiding hair in half & only use one side of the pack.
3: Play with your bun! see what works for you . use a small flat iron to smooth out the braiding hair. you’re not going to get the bun right the first time redo it as many times as you need to.
a little extra tip 😉: (add gel products to the natural hair to smooth it out to blend with the braiding hair )
