VIWater parks are way crazier than people think.
The biggest water park in the world is Chimelong Water Park in China, massive enough to feel like a full city of slides and wave pools. Right behind it, places like Tropical Islands in Germany take it even further with indoor beaches the size of hangars.
Then you’ve got insane slides like Verrückt, which was once the tallest water slide ever built at over 50 meters high. Or Kilimanjaro in Brazil, still one of the highest operating slides, where you drop almost straight down at crazy speed.
But what really blows my mind are the rules.
Some slides require you to weigh between 50 and 100 kg or you’re not allowed on. Others force you into a strict position, arms crossed and legs locked, because one wrong posture at that speed can actually be dangerous. No jewelry, no loose clothing, sometimes even no certain types of swimwear.
There are slides where you can’t ride alone, you need a group weight to make the raft work properly. And in some cases, if you're too light, you literally won’t make it through the whole slide.
From chill lazy rivers to full-on adrenaline drops, water parks are way more extreme than they look.
