LAWorking harder almost ruined my semester.
I’m a double major engineering student, juggling two jobs, clubs, and took 19 credit hours last semester…and completely burned out. I thought if I just pushed harder, I’d be fine.
Turns out, I didn’t need more discipline. I needed better structure. Here’s what I’m doing differently this semester to prevent that from happening again:
1) Not over-committing myself. When I put more effort into fewer things, everything improved, including my energy. So I’m capping my commitments and building my schedule around rest 📆
2) Pulling all-nighters is a disease. Instead of staying up all night, I’m waking up earlier to study. It’s scientifically proven that studying around 4-5AM can actually be more productive. It’s quieter, your focus is better, and revision sticks more 🧠
3) To wake up early, I need to sleep early. Sleep can’t be the first thing I sacrifice. I’m aiming for 7-9 hours so I can stay focused, stop falling asleep in class, and avoid getting behind 💤
4) No matter how hard school gets, I’m not sacrificing my health. Staying active is usually the first thing engineering students drop, but it should really be the last. Even if I fail an exam, consistency at the gym keeps my body healthy and mind motivated to keep going 💪
Success isn’t about doing everything, but about building a system you can actually sustain. Join me and make this your best semester yet 🤝

5 moths ago, I was just a broke uni student, working a job I hated and living a life I despised… I was locked in a toxic environment where I was constantly restricted as a woman, I was told to be quite and obedient…
So I had no many options, either stay in that situation or do something about my life.
So I took my ambition and craziness and I started posting online to build an online business even tough I had NO idea how 😅
But I kept going, I failed hundreds times but I couldn’t stop, and now 2 moths in I AM OFFICIALLY MAKING IT 🥹🥳

ARI moved to Germany with no “9-to-5” background, just a few internships and a lot of preparation. Many told me it was impossible to find a marketing role so fast without B2 German.
Here is the reality of how I landed two back-to-back Working Student roles in English:
1️⃣ The “High-Value” Skill Stack: While others were just studying, I focused on Paid Media & Creative Strategy. Digital marketing is the engine of German startups right now. If you have “Hard Skills,” your degree or lack of full-time experience matters way less.
2️⃣ The German Resume (CV): I didn’t use a generic one. I tailored my CV to the German “Tabellarischer” style. It’s about being clean, professional, and direct.
3️⃣ Network > Cold Apps: I didn’t just stay home. I joined local communities, went to meetups, and talked to professors. Understanding the local market is what gives you leverage in an interview.
4️⃣ The Language Truth: Yes, German is a plus. But if you don’t know it yet, don’t waste time on A1/A2-level jobs. Target International companies where English is the office language. If you want to use German for work, aim for B2/C1 anything less is rarely enough for professional roles.
5️⃣ The Interview Game: Be over-prepared. Be professional. Show them you aren’t just a student, but a specialist who happens to be studying.
