QUKilling an unborn child in Islam is haram, especially when it is done out of fear of poverty or worldly hardship.
Allah ﷻ clearly tells us in the Qur’an:
“Do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely their killing is a great sin.”
(Surah Al-Isra 17:31)
Provision is from Allah. Rizq is not from our bank accounts, our jobs, or our calculations. It is decreed by the One who created the soul in the womb.
As someone who has spent over three decades dealing with death, washing bodies, burying young and old, I can tell you — life is fragile, and every soul has weight. Every soul has a story. Every soul is written before it even enters this world.
The Prophet ﷺ taught us that at 120 days, the angel breathes the soul into the fetus and writes four matters: its provision, lifespan, deeds, and whether it will be among the blessed or not. (Bukhari & Muslim)
Who are we to interfere with what Allah has already decreed?
Hardship is part of this dunya. Poverty is a test. Fear is a test. But the answer to hardship is patience (sabr) and trust (tawakkul) — not taking a life that Allah has honored.
And at the same time, we must remember: many mothers are struggling silently. Some are scared. Some are alone. Some feel unsupported. Instead of judgment, we should offer support. Instead of condemnation, we should offer solutions. Islam is firm on protecting life — but it is also a religion of mercy and community responsibility.
May Allah grant ease to every mother carrying a child.
May Allah protect every unborn soul.
May Allah replace fear with trust, hardship with relief, and anxiety with certainty in His promise.
This world is temporary. Tests come and go.
But the consequences of our choices echo into eternity.
Allah is Ar-Razzaq — The Provider.

_FThe ease and luxuries of this world are temporary. They end at the grave, leaving behind only deeds.
What once felt permanent — wealth, comfort, status; vanishes, reminding us that dunya was never meant to last.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever loves his worldly life will suffer in his Hereafter, and whoever loves his Hereafter will suffer in his worldly life. Thus, prefer what is everlasting over what will vanish.” (Sahih Ibn Hibban 709)
This is a reminder that true peace and comfort are not found in what fades, but in what endures with Allah.
Our task is to prepare for the ākhirah, where joy is eternal and comfort never ends.

NAMost beautiful moment of my life 🔥
Drifting along side these gentle giants in the shallow part of the lagoon under the most pristine conditions felt nothing less than a dream. Other worldly… our captain @yazir_paredes02 had a gut feeling and took us there. Suddenly this mother and calf appeared, they left our whole boat speechless. Time stood still as we witnessed the most beautiful moment of our lives.
They stayed with us like this for 40 minutes.

It is entirely the whales choice to interact with humans. There is no study up to date that proves humans transmit disease to whales.

DRThis worldly life is not a place of rest; it is a place of trial and testing. Allah ﷻ clearly tells us that He created life and death to test us as to who is best in deeds, not who is richest, happiest, or most comfortable. Every ease and every hardship carries a hidden امتحان (test).
Sometimes Allah tests us through pain, loss, and delays, and sometimes through ease, success, and abundance. When hardship comes, patience is required. When blessings arrive, gratitude is required. Both are equally challenging. Many fail in hardship by losing hope, and many fail in ease by forgetting Allah.
The believer understands that nothing happens without purpose. Tears are seen by Allah. Silent sabr is known to Him. Even when the heart feels heavy, Allah is closer than we imagine. This dunya will never be perfect, because perfection is promised only in Jannah.
So when life feels overwhelming, remind your heart: this is not punishment, this is preparation. Hold firmly onto salah, dua, and tawakkul. Trust Allah’s plan even when you do not understand it. The trials of this world are temporary, but the reward of patience is eternal. 🌙✨
یہ دنیا آرام کی جگہ نہیں بلکہ آزمائش کی جگہ ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے زندگی اور موت کو اس لیے پیدا کیا تاکہ ہمیں آزما سکے کہ ہم میں سے کون بہتر عمل کرتا ہے۔ دنیا کی ہر خوشی اور ہر تکلیف اپنے اندر ایک امتحان رکھتی ہے۔
کبھی ہمیں غم، نقصان اور صبر کے ذریعے آزمایا جاتا ہے، اور کبھی نعمتوں، آسانیوں اور کامیابی کے ذریعے۔ تکلیف میں صبر کرنا مشکل ہوتا ہے، اور نعمت میں شکر ادا کرنا اس سے بھی بڑا امتحان ہے۔ بہت سے لوگ مصیبت میں مایوس ہو جاتے ہیں اور بہت سے آسانی میں اللہ کو بھول جاتے ہیں۔
مومن جانتا ہے کہ جو کچھ بھی ہوتا ہے اللہ کے حکم سے ہوتا ہے۔ آنسو ہوں یا خاموش صبر، اللہ سب دیکھ رہا ہے۔ جب دل بوجھل ہو تب بھی اللہ سب سے زیادہ قریب ہوتا ہے۔ یہ دنیا کبھی مکمل نہیں ہو سکتی کیونکہ کامل زندگی جنت میں ہے۔
لہٰذا جب زندگی مشکل لگے تو اپنے دل کو سمجھائیں کہ یہ سزا نہیں بلکہ تیاری ہے۔ نماز، دعا اور اللہ پر بھروسہ مضبوط رکھیں۔ دنیا کی آزمائش عارضی ہے، مگر صبر کا اجر ہمیشہ کے لیے ہے۔ 🤍
