ANWe did a day trip 🚘 to the Norfolk Broads, and took an old style paddle boat⛴️ that is designed to resemble a classic Mississippi steamer down the river.
The day didn’t start off smoothly 🤦♀️ I messed up the timing, and the traffic was worse than I anticipated, so I ended up missing the 1pm departure from Wroxham by 10mins, and unfortunately the tickets were non-refundable. So after spending £24 for the little dude and myself, I proceeded to the ticket desk and paid another £24 for the 3pm departure! It was an expensive lesson, but nonetheless, I wanted us to enjoy the 1.5hr boat trip, and that we did.
Just look at how stunning the houses are! 🤩 These houses don’t come cheap and range in the millions price range £££
My favourite by far was the last one, which was extremely modern and had large glass floor to ceiling windows; stunning 🤩
We saw herons and dragon flies you only find in the broads, and enjoyed the commentary about the history and wildlife from the skipper along the way.
Norfolk is definitely one of the most stunning counties in England, and I want to explore more of it.
Wroxham is 20mins from Norwich, so you could do both. Norwich is a wonderful city with an impressive cathedral!

We headed down to check out the brand-new Adventure Play Area at Wroxham Barns and wow… it did not disappoint 😍
The kids absolutely loved it - there’s so much to explore, climb, play and run wild on. Honestly, it’s got everything you’d want from an outdoor play area. Bigger, better and easily one of the best new play parks around 🙌
If you’re planning a family day out, this is definitely one to add to the list!

TIWe absolutely jumped at the chance to check out the new play area at @wroxhambarns 😍, honestly it had so much for both bigger kids and little ones and I was obsessed with the tractor themed equipment! It really has levelled up the wroxham barns experience in my opinion. We also had a fab time at the farm area seeing all baby animals! Nothing says easter time like lambs, chicks, piglets and calves 😍. Wroxham barns will always be a special one for us as we have been bringing Hugo since a baby and every year they work so hard to expand and grow and keep ensuring you get the most out of the experience 🫶

EAYou choose the toppings. They make the magic.
We popped over to @larryspizzeriahoveton in Wroxham and built our own pizza… and yes, we took full advantage. Crisp bacon, jalapeños, crispy onions, pepperoni and dirty mayo, if you’re going to customise it, you may as well go all in.
We paired it with their loaded fries (also fully customisable) because one filthy dish clearly wasn’t enough. Cheese, toppings, sauce… you can make them as sensible or as chaotic as you like. Of course we had to try one of their famous burgers, chilli beef!
It’s a fun, easy spot for a proper comfort-food fix, and the team are lovely too. Perfect for when you want pizza exactly how you like it.

We visited @wroxhambarns this weekend to test out their brand new play park - and it’s amazing!
Something for all ages and the girls loved exploring it! It’s such a fantastic addition to Wroxham Barns. We cannot wait for many more adventures here this year ☀️
