Lightning Strikes the Same Place Thousands of Times a Year (Venezuela)
Over Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela, lightning strikes with extraordinary frequency in a phenomenon known as the Catatumbo Lightning. On average, lightning flashes occur up to 260 nights per year, sometimes producing thousands of strikes in a single evening.
This concentration happens because warm Caribbean air collides with cool mountain air descending from the Andes. The surrounding topography traps storm systems in place, creating ideal conditions for repeated electrical discharge.
The lightning is so consistent that it has been used historically as a navigational beacon for sailors. It is visible from hundreds of kilometers away and has been recorded for centuries in regional accounts.
Scientists estimate the region produces one of the highest lightning densities on Earth, generating millions of electrical discharges annually. Despite its intensity, fatalities are relatively rare because most strikes occur over water.
Catatumbo Lightning plays a role in atmospheric chemistry, contributing to ozone formation in the upper atmosphere. Researchers study it to better understand storm dynamics and electrical behavior.
The idea that a specific location can attract lightning repeatedly challenges the notion of randomness. In reality, geography, climate, and air movement create predictable patterns—even in something as chaotic as a thunderstorm. It is one of the most electrifying natural spectacles on the planet.

ADDoce de Leite com Leite em Pó — Ponto de Corte
Ingredientes
• 400 g de leite em pó
• 800 g de açúcar
• 260 ml de água
Modo de preparo
1. Em uma panela ainda fria, misture bem o leite em pó, o açúcar e a água até dissolver tudo.
2. Leve ao fogo médio, mexendo sempre, até começar a ferver.
3. Abaixe o fogo e cozinhe mexendo sem parar até engrossar bastante e começar a desgrudar do fundo da panela.
4. O ponto certo é quando cai da colher em bloco pesado (não em fita).
5. Desligue o fogo, acrescente a manteiga (opcional) e misture.
6. Despeje em uma forma untada ou forrada com papel manteiga.
7. Espere esfriar completamente antes de cortar.

Cheese Garlic Bread Dough Recipe :
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour (250–260 g)
½ cup warm milk
¼ cup warm water
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil or melted butter
How to Make the Dough:
1️⃣ Activate the yeast
If using instant yeast, you can mix it directly.
Otherwise, mix warm milk + sugar + yeast and let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
3️⃣ Add the yeast mixture, warm water, and oil/butter. Mix and knead into a soft dough.
4️⃣ Knead for 8–10 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and slightly stretchy.
👉 The dough may feel slightly sticky — avoid adding too much extra flour.
5️⃣ Grease a bowl, place the dough inside, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
Toppings :
Garlic Butter
Oregano
Chilli flakes
Cheese
Please seal the sides completely after putting the toppings.
Airfryer at 180 degrees for 20-25 mins, flip after 10 mins so that another also get cooked.
