My triplets are classified as born “very preterm” at 29 + 4 weeks.
There are 5 classifications for premature babies:
Micro Preterm = Under 26 Weeks
Extremely Preterm = 26 to 28 Weeks
Very Preterm = 28 to 32 Weeks
Moderate preterm = 32 to 34 Weeks
Late Preterm = 34 to 37 Weeks
I always knew my triplets would be born premature and I desperately aimed for 28 weeks as my goal in my head. I was delighted to make 29+4. It seems crazy to me now when I see people 29 weeks pregnant that in my own pregnancy I considered this a good gestation….but it is for triplets.

CL38th week of pregnancy 🤍
Running has been part of this entire pregnancy journey.
From the early weeks to the slower miles of the third trimester, I’m so grateful my body allowed me to keep moving for this long. But right now the biggest challenge isn’t the miles, it’s the mindset.
I’m listening to my body and accepting that it might be time to pause running until after baby arrives and I’m fully recovered postpartum. That’s not an easy shift for someone who loves to run, but it’s the right decision.
Pregnancy and soon postpartum is teaching me a different kind of strength: patience, trust, and respecting what my body needs in each moment.
The miles will be there later. Right now, the priority is bringing this little one safely into the world and giving my body the recovery it deserves.
