REMy latest 8BitDo order is finally here!
I’ve been waiting quite a while for this delivery and now it’s finally here I can unbox my Analogue 3D and enjoy it in all its glory with this amazing controller - delayed gratification and all that!
The controller is the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller made specifically for the Analogue 3D. Once I saw the gray shell and the classic N64 colourings I knew I had to get one. Playing my favourite N64 titles with anything else just wouldn’t feel right!
And speaking of feelings….wow. This controller is sturdy, with a healthy heft in your hand. Whilst I love the original N64 trident, that feels lightweight in comparison. Not to mention the control stick! Chef’s kiss! Silky smooth and responsive Hall effect joysticks, with a delicious ping back to the middle. Lovely!
That extends to the joystick on the Original N64 Mod Kit that I also purchased. I’ll upgrade one of my existing N64 controllers with this Hall effect stick as well as Bluetooth compatibility. Then I can easily use an original controller anytime I want. Best of both worlds!
And as a bonus, I also picked up the 8BitDo Mod Kit for the Original GameCube controller. I already have a WaveBird but two wireless controllers for the GameCube won’t go amiss.
