“How do I throw 100??” Well. Here’s 4 of the many ways guys throw 100. They all do something unique to them very, very, VERY well. Felix Bautista has much more torso tilt than Justin Lawrence. Andres Muñoz has much deeper back leg flexion than all of them. Paul Skenes has a more aggressive lead leg block than Bautista and Muñoz. Your body may not want more torso tilt than you may not have the strength in deeper ranges to get the amount of back leg flexion Muñoz does. There’s not just one way to throw hard. Find what your low hanging fruit is and make improvements. High 70s to 90+ mph…    And he’s just 17.    Having worked with bowlers from amateur to world-class level, I can confidently say this young man’s potential is frightening.    In under 12 months, @peter_nedeljkovic_ progress is a testament to what can happen when talent works hard and is amplified with the right guidance. The numbers you see here are outstanding and underline just how high his ceiling really is.    This rise hasn’t been linear. It’s been a rollercoaster, and we’re only just getting started.    A few important points:    1. To accommodate Peter’s full run-up indoors, he occasionally bowls over the pre-marked crease. The radar measures ball speed through the air, not over distance, so a no-ball in training does not affect the speed reading in any way.    2. Handheld radar speeds (from Pocket Radar and Stalker Sport) are 3-5mph slower than TV speeds.    3. A 2 minute video cannot capture the hard work, sacrifice, and consistency shown by Peter, his family, and everyone supporting his development. Talent matters, but progress at this rate only comes with relentless and consistent effort.    4. A special shout-out to James Tomlinson, Head of Player Development at @hantscricket. While Peter was ambling in for London Schools, James recognised the uniqueness of his action (what we call the wrist of fury) and helped bring him into the Hampshire pathway. Over the past 12 months, our collaboration with Hampshire has been game-changing. Their open minded, progressive approach has been fundamental to Peter’s growth.    5. The fast bowling world isn’t short of content, coaches, or academies. What is rare is clear, repeatable evidence of long term transformation. When progression is documented like this - measured, tracked, and sustained over time - one thing becomes clear: results like this don’t happen by accident, and they certainly don’t happen everywhere.    More to come.    #SpeedCamp #SpeedStartsHere #HampshireCricket #90mph #FastBowling

Indoor Long Toss We all know throwing outdoors is ideal. To my cold weather guys, this post is for you. Just because you may only have 20-90ft of distance doesn’t mean you should limit yourself to throwing that distance. The simplest way to view indoor long toss is to simulate catch play with a partner. Start on a line. Build up the intensity and upward angle into the net. Start lowering the angle as you “bring it back in”. A radar gun is HUGE and an absolute game changer for guys throwing indoors. It’s easy to measure intensity and get objective feedback on effort levels. For those who don’t have access to a Stalker, PocketRadar is much more affordable and just as accurate.
