Keke received support from stand up for kids when experiencing homelessness so went along to one of the salons and had her first human hair wig installed!

JAMy January has been a whirlwind of performing AND catching lots of performances in town! Being the clever juggler I am 😎 I am wrapping up my month with some self-pampering. So on Monday I took myself over to @acutabovegroup salon in BSC for a trim and treat for my pixie hair. A CUT ABOVE is just being the hair salon that I’ve been a patron since January 2007, 19 years and counting ♥️
Guess who I bumped into at the salon! The lady of the hour @winnieloomh who just turned 70 and now glowing from her birthday celebrations. While we chatted and exchanged stories…
My new short mane was treated to NIOXIN’s Pro-clinical scalp renew dermabrasion before @samchau2 started the trim on me. The treatment has a super cool and minty effect on the scalp, after the warm bath I felt like a new (and very clean) person 😎😆
Sam is the same stylist I see since my first visit here. He has seen me through when I was 30 years old with a head full of long thick hair to now, turning 49 and favoring a breezy pixie cut.
After the trim, Sam walked me through some DIY tips on how to style my Liza-Minelli-wannabe hair.
