Dawn Of The North by Demi Winters ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️ 🔥🔥🔥 ARC Review: Being back with the whole crew was such a great feeling, because I love these characters and this world. The big plot twists/reveals that we’ve been waiting for were so good, but also there was good set up for the next book and left me questioning so many things. I need more page time with Saga/Kass and Hekla/Eyvind though, I can’t get enough of them 😏 Thank you to @demiwinterswrites for the opportunity to ARC read Dawn of The North, the Ashen Series is so special to me. #bookstagram #bookreview #bookrecs #arcreview #romantasy

⭐️ARC Review⭐️ Echoes of the Past by @jbj_writes Release Date 4/2/26 - available for preorder on Amazon! Honestly this is a 6 star read for me! I love high fantasy and this delivered! Such a great story and the world is vivid! Such amazing writing! Don’t go into this expecting butterfly’s and rainbows! There is however an amazing horse and unique magic! This immediately draws you in and slaps you in the face with the dreaded Day of the Fiery Dawn! IYKYK. Ok, so now that we got past that let’s talk about Tiber & Gwynn. They are twins that were separated, but are then brought back together. This book explores that journey and discovery and once united it does not go as planned as they are swept into a war that never really ended. Let’s talk about another key character that really stood out to me. Aella, she is the antagonist you can’t really hate because she is just trying to please the Soverign Kha( the true antagonist) after her “failures”. I loved her POV and her struggles! Then there is Cerena, the smartest of all the characters IMO. She is part of the found family of Gwynn and is a fierce fighter and isn’t afraid to do what’s right even if others don’t see it that way! Things you can expect: battles, magic, battle axe, brutality, some romance 🥰, found family, sobs, anger, ambition, training, the need to actually want to look at the provided map (hahah how you know it’s true epic/high fantasy)! Finished this in a few days and so glad I got to read as an eARC! Thanks JBJ! This is my honest review! ❤️ #highfantasy #arcreview #indieauthor Blurb in the comments!

ARC Review 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love that they call her the Lady of the Orchard. Watching Snow find her own power while dealing with her mother’s dark legacy was definitely the best part. The slow-burn chemistry between Snow and Huck (and even the new vibes with Coy!) was everything. The tension kept me on the edge of my seat just as much as the actual plot did—it felt so genuine and not at all forced. I actually loved this book more than The Fall of Snow. If you’re into epic fantasy retellings with a bit of spice, you 100% need to add this to your shelf! Thank you Tara Gabrys for letting me ARC read this series.

𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔 👀 love dual POVs 🌿 use homeopathic remedies 👻 have ever felt haunted 🧠 enjoy books that make you think • 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 The Devil enters through doors left open… On the isolated Eastern Shore of Virginia, Edith is a healer, a woman of knowledge—and a woman watched. Shadows move where they shouldn’t. Whispers creep through the dark. Terrified she has opened her home to the Devil, Edith makes a desperate choice. Claire doesn’t believe in ghosts—until she returns home to care for her dying father and finds her childhood house… listening. As one sleepless night bleeds into the next, she becomes convinced something is stirring beneath the floorboards. Something that has waited a long time to rise. Is the house haunted? What compels this lurking darkness? As the danger mounts, Edith and Claire will discover they’ll need each other to survive. But they are separated by four hundred years. And time is running out for them both. • 𝐌𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 Jacquie delivers yet another haunting, slow burn! The place where these two women’s lives meet and intertwine without even realizing was such a fascinating idea. At first I had no clue what direction this story was headed in, but we begin to see it flesh out slowly and deliberately in Jacquie’s superb writing style. I was honestly scared for Claire. The things she was seeing and experiencing would have been terrifying for anyone, but poor Edith had it even worse, living during a time where women with a brain were often seen as witches or touched by the devil. It’s hard to choose which POV I enjoyed more because both were so important and wouldn’t work without the other. I like that the story focused not only on the supernatural, but the science fiction realm as well. Turn Off the Light is more than a paranormal mystery - it’s about the lengths women will go through to protect one another. ARC Review ✨ Huge thank you to Kaylene for the opportunity to read this as an ARC 🤍 “When I look at you, I see everything I ever wanted—love, peace, home. This book put me through everything—hurt, love, laughter, and moments where I just sat there emotionally wrecked. I was smiling, laughing, talking to myself… and then absolutely heartbroken for the characters. It was so easy to relate to and empathize with what Riley and Adam were going through. High school friends / family friends turned enemies who reconnect years later at university? SAY LESS. Adam is a star goalie headed for the NHL (if he doesn’t get benched 👀) and Riley is brilliant, sharp, a total bookworm, horror-movie lover, and works at the concession stand—oh, and she hates him. The tension, the growth, the slow burn… perfection. Riley’s sass deserves its own award. The banter had me glued to the pages, and watching this frenemies → friendship → lovers journey unfold was everything. Tropes & Vibes:
🏒 Hockey romance
🤜🤛 Frenemies to lovers
📖 Dual POV
🐈‍⬛ Black Cat FMC
🦮 Golden Retriever MMC
🗣️ Witty banter
🔥 Slow burn

ARC Review 📖 Impostor (arc) By LJ Ross Genre: Mystery/Thriller Series Impostor is a reprint from 2019 soon to be republished and the first book in the Dr. Alex Gregory series. I really enjoyed this one and the main character, in particular. Alex, or often referred to as Gregory in the book, is a Forensic Psychologist that currently works in a penal mental facility. He also does some profiling on the side. In the facility, Alex has been working with a woman incarcerated due to causing the death of two of her three children, never up for parole as she is unrepentant. This secondary story is fascinating and illuminating. Outside of the hospital, Alex’s mentor has referred him to a small town in Ireland that has seen a bizarre murder. This case is the main feature of Impostor and I found it compelling in nature. I found Dr. Alex Gregory interesting enough that I will look for book #2 in the series and see if there is any growth of character in Alex especially after the finale in Imposter. Q. What is the main reason you start a series or continue on with one? 🐶📚 #Imposter #Netgalley #BookReview #MysteryBooks
