Stroke Warning ⚠️ Act FAST, Save Brain A brain stroke happens when blood flow to part of the brain suddenly stops or a vessel ruptures. Brain cells start dying within minutes, so recognizing symptoms early can save life and prevent permanent disability. Recognize the FAST signs: • F – Face drooping: One side of the face becomes weak or uneven. • A – Arm weakness: Sudden weakness or numbness in one arm or leg. • S – Speech difficulty: Slurred speech or inability to speak properly. • T – Time to act: Immediate hospital care is critical. ⏱ Golden window period: Clot-dissolving treatment (thrombolysis) is most effective if given within 4.5 hours of symptom onset. In some selected cases, clot removal procedures (thrombectomy) may help up to 24 hours. The earlier the treatment, the more brain cells can be saved. What to do immediately: • Call emergency services or rush to the nearest hospital immediately. • Note the exact time when symptoms started. • Keep the patient lying on the side if vomiting or unconscious. • Do not give food, water, or medicines by mouth. Remember: Time lost is brain lost. #StrokeWarning #FASTStroke #GoldenHour #BrainStrokeAwareness #DoctorAdvice

Most cases of paralysis are caused by a stroke. Prolonged high blood pressure, cholesterol, or blood sugar can lead to blood clots, which may block arteries in the brain. Watch for sudden stroke symptoms: facial drooping, arm weakness, or difficulty speaking. Early recognition and treatment can significantly improve recovery and reduce long-term disability. A stroke doesn’t always knock before it enters. It can happen suddenly, without pain, without notice, and within minutes it can change a life forever. A stroke occurs when the blood supply to the brain is blocked or when a blood vessel bursts. Brain cells begin to die within minutes. That is why every second matters. Know the early signs. Think F.A.S.T. F – Face drooping A – Arm weakness S – Speech difficulty T – Time to seek emergency care immediately Other warning signs may include sudden confusion, severe headache, dizziness, blurred vision, or loss of balance. Do not wait for symptoms to pass. Do not try home remedies. Immediate medical attention can significantly reduce brain damage and improve recovery. Stroke is a medical emergency. Quick action can save a life, protect brain function, and prevent long term disability. If you notice any of these symptoms, seek urgent medical care without delay. Your brain controls everything. It Looks Like a Stroke… But is it? 🛑Did you know that nearly 1 in 3 suspected stroke patients are actually experiencing a “stroke mimic”? Conditions like seizures, severe migraines, or even low blood sugar can look exactly like a stroke to the untrained eye. The biggest clue? Strokes usually cause “negative” symptoms like sudden loss of function, while mimics often cause “positive” symptoms like flashing lights or jerking movements. ⚠️ Important: Never try to diagnose this at home. “Time is brain,” and every second counts. #StrokeAwareness #HealthTips #StrokeMimic
