REI can’t decide which is worse…
After 7 years of living full-time in Airbnbs around the world, we’ve noticed that most of the problems just shouldn’t be!… They’re simple. Cheap to fix. And would instantly make the stay 10x better.
Here’s what’s almost always missing:❌
🔪 A sharp kitchen knife
We’re not trying to slice through a coconut. Just a tomato. Please.
🪝 Hooks. Everywhere.
Coats, towels, bags, wet swimsuits, tomorrow’s outfit. Hooks cost pennies and make life better.
🛏️ Pillows that don’t feel like pancakes
We’ll even take extras in the closet. Just don’t make us stack couch cushions for head support.
🔌 Plugs next to the bed
This is the bare minimum now. I’m so tired of crawling under beds with a flashlight and dust bunnies.
🛋️ Enough seating for the number of people staying
If the house sleeps 4, there should be 4 comfy places to sit. Not 2 sad bar stools and a wicker chair.
🫕 Oven-safe pans - and something to grab them with. If you don’t give me pot holders, you can’t be mad that I used a bathroom towel to pull out the casserole dish. Choices were made. Consequences were burned.
