I didn’t know how much hard work, patience, and thread (so much thread!) went into making just one Parsi Gara. The day you explained it all to me, I finally got it—and now I appreciate this beautiful art so much more. You’ve truly taken this craft to a whole new level. I haven’t seen anyone else make pieces as stunning as yours. Your collection is just wow—seriously, are you sure you’re not secretly a magician? I can already picture it: when I’m planning their weddings,, there’s no way we’re skipping your masterpieces. They *have* to have at least one of your creations to treasure forever. Ashdeen @ashdeenl is this incredible designer who has revived Parsi Gara embroidery and given it the most fabulous contemporary twist. We created a saree gown together—an absolute dream come true—and showcased it in a show where he collaborated with the @timeandtalentsclub . These women are amazing; they do so much good and help so many people. Their cookbook, filled with iconic Parsi recipes, is practically a household treasure. I grew up with it, and when I got married, my mom gifted me my own copy—so special! I still refer to it all the time, and what I love most is that every recipe is credited to the woman who contributed it, making it feel so personal and rich with history. Fun fact: These are the same legendary ladies who once brought down Sting and The Police to Mumbai, thinking it was a police band! This night was extra special—I got to walk with the most beautiful Parsi girls, including my sister, in front of an illustrious audience. So, thank you, Ashdeen, for having me—it was truly unforgettable!
