Today’s video breaks down the key differences between Bar Muscle-Up, Chest-to-Bar, and Pull-Up, focusing on performance points that help highlight their unique execution: 1️⃣ Starting Point: - Bar Muscle-Up: Requires the biggest distance behind the bar, allowing for the most momentum. - Chest-to-Bar: A moderate step back, needing less swing but still enough to pull the chest up. - Pull-Up: Starts closest to the bar, requiring minimal momentum. 2️⃣ Hollow Position: - Bar Muscle-Up: Most pronounced hollow, where the body rounds and toes point forward to create a deep swing. - Chest-to-Bar: Less exaggerated but still present for a strong pull. - Pull-Up: The hollow position is less extreme, focusing more on pulling the chin above the bar. 3️⃣ Arch Position: - Bar Muscle-Up: Requires the largest arch to propel the body over the bar. - Chest-to-Bar: A moderate arch to assist in getting the chest to the bar. - Pull-Up:The least pronounced arch, as the goal is simply to lift the chin over the bar. 4️⃣ Toe Height: - Bar Muscle-Up: Toes rise the highest, aiding in the upward momentum to clear the bar. - Chest-to-Bar: Moderate toe height to get the chest close. - Pull-Up: Lowest toe lift, as only the chin needs to clear the bar. GLIDE KIP O Glide Kip é um dos movimentos-base da Ginástica Artística e aparece logo no início da formação dos ginastas. Ele é válido dentro do código de pontuação da modalidade e possui características próprias que o diferenciam de outros movimentos de barra, como o Bar Muscle Up. 📌 Enquanto no BMU os pés não podem ultrapassar a linha da barra (o que seria inválido em competições), no Glide Kip eles passam dessa referência. Além disso, o balanço é mais pendular, sem a fase de Arch que vemos no CrossFit. 🔑 Mas o grande valor do Glide Kip, quando adaptado como drill, está na vivência motora: ele desenvolve a capacidade de aproximar os pés da barra, melhora a percepção da inversão do movimento e transfere diretamente para a execução do BMU. 👉 Se você sente dificuldade em elevar o pé no BMU, inserir os drills de Glide Kip pode ser o ponto de virada no seu processo.
