You’ve probably seen everyone online talking about the new BPC-157 study, and some even claiming it “reduces inflammation by 50%” (study name is Emerging Use of BPC-157 in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine: A Systematic Review - if you want to google it!) I wanted to jump on and give you an unbiased, factual breakdown of what the study actually says, what it doesn’t say and how all of this might matter for people living with Lyme disease, long COVID, or other chronic illnesses. Important to know: the study looked at a review of 544 studies on BPC-157- only the ones that were considered high-quality research were used, which ended up being only 36 studies. This was not a human trial on BPC-157, which I have seen some online refer to it as. I also can’t find in the study anywhere that says BPC 157 lowered entire bodily inflammation by 50%. Just that it lowered inflammation at the site of the injection. To be clear, I do believe that peptides lower bodily inflammation, but that they need to be used correctly with a highly educated practitioner. If you are a practitioner that is an expert in peptide therapy please feel free to drop a hello in my comments so that people know where to find you 🤝 Here’s my take 👇 -Peptides can be a helpful tool in a chronic illness healing plan. Many patients, myself included, have seen benefits when they’re used thoughtfully and under medical guidance. -But they are not miracle cures !!! Online conversations can make peptides sound like they’ll completely fix you- and that’s simply not correct or even what the science is pointing to. -If you’re considering BPC-157 (or any peptide): Talk to your doctor. Understand how it fits into your treatment plan. Make sure you’re getting medical guidance. Make sure you are ordering the peptide from a high-quality company. There was also a second peptide study released this week, and I’ll break that down in a future video so you have the full picture. I always want to make sure that my community has the best information when it comes to new research coming out and I hope that this video was helpful in figuring out what your future healing plans should be 💚💚💚☺️☺️☺️

I’m not anti-peptide. I’m anti-reckless. I’ve personally used peptides for 4+ years. Thymosin Alpha, BPC 157, NAD+, among others. I am not currently using any peptides but I believe they can be powerful tools when used correctly. But here are the biggest mistakes I see women making right now. 1️⃣ Using peptides as the plan GLP-1s and peptides are TOOLS - not a strategy. Without food, strength training, and recovery, they amplify dysfunction. 2️⃣ Undereating protein Appetite suppression + low protein = muscle loss. And muscle is your metabolism, your hormones, and your longevity. 3️⃣ Skipping strength training Weight loss without muscle protection is not health. It’s just a smaller, weaker body. 4️⃣ Cutting carbs “because they’re not hungry” Women need carbs for cortisol, thyroid, sleep, and hormones. Starving your nervous system is not biohacking. I’ve seen peptide use combined with UNDEReating WRECK cortisol 5️⃣ Chasing the scale only Energy, sleep, strength, cycle health, and mood matter. If weight loss costs you all of that - it’s not a win. 6️⃣ Following advice like “just eat half” That’s not guidance. That’s how women end up burned out, depleted, and rebounding. Here’s what I believe after 20 years in fitness + years of peptide use: ➡️ Foundations come first ➡️ Muscle must be protected ➡️ Food still matters ➡️ Strength is non-negotiable ➡️ Peptides should support a healthy body - not replace the work I’m not here to shame anyone. I’m here to educate women so they don’t lose their health chasing results.
