This is for you if you haven’t gotten rid of the “soft” look yet ⤵️ Everyone thinks fixing a skinny-fat body is complicated. Like there’s some secret plan. Some hidden trick. Some magic button you haven’t pressed yet. That’s not what’s happening. What’s actually happening is this: Most skinny-fat girls are doing good things — but without understanding the process behind body recomposition. They train hard… without fueling enough. They eat “healthy”… but stay in a constant deficit. They try to lean out… before building muscle. And that keeps them soft. Skinny-fat isn’t a weight problem. It’s a sequence problem. Fat Loss Mistake #1 One of the biggest mistakes I see women make when trying to lose fat is under-eating. Somewhere along the way women were told that the answer to fat loss is simply eat less. But if your calories stay too low for too long: • your metabolism adapts • energy drops • muscle becomes harder to build • fat loss can stall And if your goal is body recomposition (losing fat while building lean muscle), your body actually needs enough fuel to do that. A smart fat-loss phase is 6-12 weeks depending on the individual. This is Mistake #1 in my 5-part series on fat loss mistakes women make. This process is called a Body Recomposition ⁣ Although it has grown in popularity over the years, the reality is many people are not actually doing both.⁣ ⁣ Usually, I’d hear women tell me that they are not losing weight but are getting stronger so they must be going through a phase of losing fat and building muscle.⁣ ⁣ Can be but also very unlikely.⁣ ⁣ Unless there was a gold standard body composition test to determine. ⁣ ⁣ The most likely case here is that they were in a slight surplus and building muscle and not losing any fat.⁣ ⁣ To pull off a successful recomp requires a lot of 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.⁣ ⁣ Two traits that a beginner to fitness will most likely not possess.⁣ ⁣ Therefore, I wouldn’t advise a client to do a body recomp unless they CAN prove to me that they are precise with their calories and macros.⁣ ⁣ That being said, I still wouldn’t advise many clients to do this because you’ll most likely see better progress focusing on one goal than two.⁣ ⁣ Your body can only physiologically go through so much adaptations.⁣ ⁣ However, building muscle or losing fat can happen as a BYPRODUCT from focusing on one goal especially if the client has a lot of weight to lose.⁣ ⁣ Hope this all makes sense.⁣ ⁣ Subscribe to my YouTube 👉🏻 Adrianleungfit to watch my full breakdown “Let’s Talk All About Body Recomposition”.⁣ ⁣ #bodyrecomp #bodyrecomposition
