Most busy parents think they need to train 6-7 days a week to see results. That’s bullshit - and it’s exactly why you burn out and quit after 3 weeks. Look, if you’re trying to train 7 days a week, you’re setting yourself up to fail. Your body can’t recover, you’ll burn out in a month, and you’ll be back on the couch wondering why nothing ever works. Six days? C’mon, you’ve got kids, a career, and a life. That’s not realistic and you know it. Here’s what actually works: 3-4 days a week of simple strength training. That’s it. That’s all you need to lose the gut and build some strength. And no, you don’t need to spend 2 to 3 either. 45 minutes, full body workouts, done properly with 2-3 minutes rest between sets so you can actually lift with decent form. The reason you keep failing isn’t because you’re not motivated enough. It’s because you’re trying to do too much, too fast, with plans designed for 25-year-old influencers who don’t have your life.
