Most people are overcomplicating their career in 2026. Another degree isn’t the answer. Waiting years for promotions isn’t either. High income skills > traditional paths. Tech sales gives you a base salary, commission on top, remote flexibility and real earning potential in the UK without needing a corporate background. I went from beauty and content to £65k in my first year. No connections. No experience in tech. It’s not glamorous. It’s just smart. If you’re in the UK and want a career that actually scales, comment TECH and I’ll send you the roadmap 👇🏼 #sales #techsales #careeradvice #careerpath #careerprogression

Comment “CAREER MOAT” and I’ll send you a link to grab the framework! Think about two people starting their careers today: Person A decides to specialize in sustainable AI development. Person B pursues print magazine publishing. Neither can predict the future, but one is positioning themselves where value is growing, while the other is fighting against industry headwinds. This is why the concept of a career moat is so powerful. It’s not just about being good at what you do - it’s about building competitive advantages that compound over time. The strongest ones typically come from: 1. Technical depth in emerging fields (like that AI developer) 2. Deep domain expertise (like someone in finance who understands healthcare regulations inside and out) 3. Unique skill combinations (like a UX designer who can code) 4. Relationship capital in growing industries (like having a strong network in climate tech) Any of these can be a moat, but the key is choosing areas where the value of your expertise or relationships grows stronger over time, not weaker. The framework helps you identify these opportunities in your industry. It’s not about predicting the future - it’s about positioning yourself where time works for you, not against you. #careergrowth #careerstrategy #careerpath #careeradvice #economicmoat careermoat

Do you ever feel like nothing you do is good enough? Do you set impossibly high standards for yourself, only to beat yourself up when you inevitably fall short? If you relate, you might be a perfectionist. The cognitive model of behavior helps us understand that we can overcome our perfectionism by gradually desensitizing ourselves to the very things we fear. Whether it’s the fear of judgment or the fear of not meeting expectations, we can face our fears head-on and come out the other side stronger and more resilient. Here are some simple things you can do to start exposing yourself to low-risk opportunities for growth: – Go for a walk without a map and challenge yourself to find your way home (and have your phone on you for if you really do get lost!). – Press ‘send’ on that email without reading it multiple times. – Say ‘Yes’ before you’re ready. – Try a new hobby or skill that you’ve always been interested in, but too scared to try. These might seem like small steps, but they can have a big impact on your confidence and self-worth. Start small and slowly expand your comfort zone - you might just surprise yourself! I used to feel so anxious when sending emails at work, so the “send without reading 27 times” is entirely from personal experience… 😛 Thankfully I’ve since overcome that fear. Follow your TALENT, not your passion. Here's why 👇 "Follow your passion" is feel-good advice that leads many people toward frustration and financial struggle. The smarter approach? Follow where your natural talents intersect with market demand 📊 Your passions are what you enjoy doing, but your talents are what you're consistently better at than most people. These innate strengths: • Feel effortless to you (but impressive to others) • Allow you to progress faster than peers • Receive consistent positive feedback • Energize rather than drain you 🔋 Building a career on your natural talents creates a powerful advantage that passion alone cannot: • You'll advance more quickly • You'll face less competition • You'll earn more with less struggle • You'll still find genuine fulfillment The most successful professionals I know didn't necessarily start with burning passion. They recognized their natural strengths, applied them to valuable problems, and developed passion through mastery. What natural talent do people consistently compliment you on? A couple weeks ago one of you guys asked me as part of an AMA to talk about every job and salary I’ve had to date, so no gatekeeping and sharing it for every corporate role I’ve had to date! ✨ If there’s one key takeaway from this video, it’s to always be open to opportunities and never get too comfortable in a role. The times when I changed industries, moved teams, or said yes to opportunities that lowkey scared me, all of these moments led to growth, both professionally and also opened doors to negotiate higher salaries. It’s a reminder to believe in yourself, even when things feel uncertain, because the biggest leaps often happen outside your comfort zone! Ps. I didn’t talk about it in this video as I wanted it to be corporate focused, but my first ever job was at Maccas when I was 14 🤭. I also worked at a cafe for a little while and at an optometry place during my uni days. Most of these were casual roles, but they were the jobs that built my work ethic early on. One thing I really wish I knew about back then was investing, but it’s never too late! I started when I was about 26-27, so around 4-5 years ago 🫶🏻. Anyways, I’m curious, who else worked in fast food or retail as a teenager? 👀 Lastly, I’d love to know, what’s one thing you’ve done (or learned) that’s helped you level up in your career or income? [Salaries mentioned in this video include superannuation, which is Australia’s form of retirement fund system 💰] #careerjourney #corporatelife #careertips #careerprogression #growthmindset #womeninfinance #careerpath #salarygrowth #financialfreedom #moneymindset

HR: “Why do you want to work here?“ Strong candidates make a simple shift, they connect what the company cares about with what they can genuinely bring. Here are two frameworks that will make your answer a TopTier candidate one 👇 1) Company → Role → Me Use this when you genuinely like where the company is heading: Company: “I have been following your shift toward simpler, more user friendly products, and I like how you involve customers early.” ✅ Shows you understand their direction Role: “This role sits right where product decisions are shaped, which is the part I enjoy most.” ✅ Shows you know where the real work happens Me: “My strength is turning messy feedback into something usable, and that fits with what this team needs.” ✅ Shows how you contribute without bragging 2) Problem → Insight → Contribution Use this when you want to show you understand the reality of the market and the team: Problem: “There is a lot of consolidation happening in your space, and that usually puts pressure on teams to be sharper and more efficient.” ✅ Realistic market awareness Insight: “I noticed your team deals with this by keeping feedback loops short and decisions close to the work.” ✅ Shows you understand their operating style Contribution: “That is the environment I thrive in. I support teams by keeping communication clean so people can move fast without friction.” ✅ Clear, grounded value Use whichever one feels more like you. Both show preparation and genuine alignment, no memorizing needed. 👉 Save this for your next interview 👉 Share with someone job hunting 🫵 Comment which question you want me to break down next #interviewtips #jobinterview #jobsearch #applicationadvice #careerguide #gethired #interviewskills #jobhuntinghelp #careerpath #careeropportunities #youngprofessionals #internadvice #midcareer #toniexplainsagain #usajobs #jobsearchusa #jobmarketusa #careersUSA #usatopjobs #careercoach #careers #jobs #recruitertips

Comment ‘IKIGAI WORKBOOK’ to find work that actually fits you 👇 I freaking HAAATE the advice follow your passions. We don’t need to get into it, but something that brings you joy as a hobby will not necessarily bring you joy as a career. But finding that intersection of the work that energizes you, feels purposeful, fulfills a mission, AND makes you money?? That shit is hard!! That’s why I love the Ikigai framework - it considers more than just the work that resonates with you, but the work that resonates with the world. This framework will help you: - Map the hidden threads between your passions & market needs - Spot profitable opportunities others miss - Turn natural talents into career advantages - Find fulfillment AND financial growth When you go through the framework, leave me a comment about any insights or surprises that came out of it! And if you’ve found what you’d consider your Ikigai, I wanna hear about it! #ikigai #careerpath #careerchange #2026goals #careeradvice
