Its important as a hand wrapper to do a good job on these as it helps settle a fighters mind and gives them full confidence knowing everything right up to stepping into that ring is done and they’re full prepared 👏
One difference I’ve noticed with hand wrapping in UK and outside of UK is.. for UK.. the 2.5cm tape must not cover any of the punch surface… (front of fist)… it must sit on top of the knuckles or behind but not over…
Outside the UK everyone tends to go by the 1 inch behind knuckle rule.. and that is often hotly contested by the other team which I experienced in Germany… its a chance for the opposing team to play some mental warfare and try gain an advantage before the first bell 😂
