LYDeadstock clothing is a huge waste issue within fashion which is why I LOVED making these scrunchies for conscious queens @aidashoreditch 💞♻️🌸
While Aida’s deadstock is minimal there is inevitably a little bit but I loved how they still saw the value in the materials and asked me to remake them into scrunchies 🎀
It’s this kinda of responsibility from retailers paired with creativity for reuse, that we can create a less wasteful fashion industry and 🌍

A few months ago, I stopped by @caoimhe.murphy.design’s pop-up in town and grabbed some gorgeous deadstock fabric. Little did I know that, with the help of @the_zipyard_dunlaoghaire, I’d turn that fabric into two scarves (I will come back here to show them off at some stage 🤩) and this to-die-for, super spacious handbag!
I also picked up a beautiful piece for my friend @fionnualamoran and I can’t wait to see what she creates with it 💓
