DEThe Delphi Economic Forum mourns the passing of Hélène Glykatzi-Ahrweiler, an eminent historian, intellectual, and tireless advocate of Hellenic and European culture.
For many years, as President of the Administration Council of the European Cultural Centre of Delphi, she served with vision and dedication, strengthening Delphi’s role as a center of dialogue and humanistic values. From the very beginning of the Delphi Economic Forum, she stood as a steadfast supporter of our mission, believing deeply in the power of open dialogue and democratic exchange.
Today, we honor her legacy by sharing a moment from her address at our second Forum, ten years ago, in March 2017, where she spoke with clarity and conviction about democracy, a principle she championed throughout her life.
