LAThese are the seven interior design trends I’m seeing everywhere right now, and I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of them in 2026. Most aren’t “current” trends yet, but rather the ones on the rise. Each feels like a natural evolution of what’s been filling our feeds and design inspo pages: mirrored walls emerging from the stainless steel obsession or parquet floors evolving from herringbone.
What I love most about watching design trends shift is that it’s like a quiet game of pattern recognition; noticing the subtle details that start to repeat themselves before anyone names them. You scroll, you walk into a new restaurant, you visit a hotel lobby, and suddenly you think, “Wait… why am I seeing this everywhere lately?” That moment is where the next wave begins. Trends don’t just appear out of nowhere; they’re built on what came before them, layered with progression, nostalgia, innovation, and the culture of the moment.
