 In Ayurveda, elimination (malavaha srotas) is super sacred.

If you're relying on caffeine to get things moving, here's what's really happening: 
Coffee stimulates your bowels by force, not by function. It may weaken your muscles and interrupt your ‘gut feeling’!

It dehydrates your system, pulling water into your colon while drying everything else out - including your stools.

And over time, your gut forgets how to work on its own. If you're dealing with acidity, inflammation or slow digestion, caffeine-first mornings are doing more harm than good. 👉🏽 What to do instead (the Ayurvedic way):
 1️⃣ Warm water first thing – not coffee. Add fennel or lime to gently awaken agni. 2️⃣ Eat your meals on time – especially lunch, when digestion is strongest and light plant based dinner. 3️⃣ Abhyanga (warm oil massage) – yes, it helps you poop - clockwise around the abdomen. 4️⃣ Early to bed – your colon works best before sunrise, sleep by 10pm. 5️⃣ Build rhythm, not reliance – your gut thrives on consistency, not caffeine. 6️⃣ Sit in Malasana (yogic squat) daily which naturally aligns your pelvic floor and colon, for easier elimination. 7️⃣ Take Triphala before bed - a classic Ayurvedic formula gently supports detoxification, strengthens your colon over time without creating dependency. ✨ Your bowels deserve support, not stimulation.
