Are you desperate to have your divorce over with? Have you already dropped $50k on a lawyer with no discovery to show for it💸? Here are some ways to speed up your divorce and save you money: * If you haven’t received discovery and know where the accounts are being held, just subpoena the financial institutions. * Hire a CDFA to review the financials you do have and have them help you present a settlement offer to your spouse during mediation. * You can also have the CDFA keeping the lawyer on track to make sure nothing has fallen through the cracks and ensure that things are getting done in a timely manner. Does this sound like your situation? If you need help, use the link in my bio to book a discovery call with us! #divorcesupport #divorcetips #divorcehelp #divorcemediation #divorcelawyer

Part 2. The highs. The lows. The good week that made me think okay maybe this is turning around. And then the crash. Over and over. My body was not depressed. It was depleted. There is a difference. Depressed is a medical thing that deserves real support. But if your ‘depression’ only lives inside one relationship... that is not depression. That is your nervous system waving a white flag. Once I got off that ride... I slowly started to feel like myself again. If you’ve been wondering what’s wrong with you… what if nothing is? What if it’s not depression. It’s depletion. And you can’t heal in the same place that’s draining you. I built the Stay or Go course for that exact moment. When you’re too exhausted to think clearly but you know something has to change. 12 lessons. Completely private. No one will know. Link in bio or comment/DM “help” and I’ll send you the link. 🤍 #toxicrelationships #marriageproblem #divorcinganarcissist #divorcesupport #divorce

We were in the car— both kids in the backseat, bikes loaded on the rack, windows rolled down as mountain air blew through my hair. These were the moments that made me question myself. The moments where I almost forgot the heaviness from the night before— lying in bed to the man, I built this life with, staring at the ceiling, quietly asking myself, “is this all there is?” From the outside, my life worked. My family was good. We were happy. But I wasn’t happy. I felt like I was living someone else’s life. I had built everything around what I thought I was supposed to do. Who I was supposed to be. Chasing the version of success that wasn’t even mine. I was exhausted from holding it all together. From pretending I was fine for so long that I forgot what not fine even felt like. And then the guilt would hits. How could I blow up my kids lives just because I wasn’t happy? How could I be so selfish? Can’t I just be happy without leaving my marriage? But in that moment— wind in my hair, kids laughing behind me— I knew. What I needed wasn’t answers. It was space. Space to be with myself. Space where I wasn’t managing everyone else else’s emotions. Space for the outside noise stopped, drowning out my own voice. And I knew something else too: If my kids were in the marriage, I was in— feeling the way I felt— I would want more for them. I would want them to choose their happiness. Even if they weren’t sure what that looks like yet. If you’ve been holding everything together and quietly wondering how much longer you can do this… Drop a 🌱 and I’ll share a gentle way to create space— even if you aren’t ready to make a big decision.

A lot of people walk into mediation thinking the goal is to reach an agreement. But if you’re dealing with a high-conflict ex or someone with narcissistic tendencies… that may not happen. And honestly? You probably already know that. So instead of seeing mediation as a failure if nothing gets resolved, shift your perspective. Mediation can actually be one of the BEST places to gather intel. High-conflict people love an audience. And mediation gives them one. They will talk. And talk. And talk. They’ll tell you: • what they think they have on you • what they plan to accuse you of • what they want from the case • what they think they deserve • what they believe should happen with the kids They’ll often reveal their entire strategy while trying to embarrass you in front of the mediator. If you know, you know. So instead of walking in thinking: “I’m here to settle everything today.” Walk in thinking: “I’m here to listen, take notes, and gather information.” And the best way to walk into mediation prepared is with a well-written parenting plan that already outlines exactly what you’re proposing. Not vague ideas. Not things you’re trying to remember in the moment. A clear, detailed plan. My team and I help parents create custom parenting plans that prepare them for mediation and protect their future with their kids. If you want help building yours, comment ZEBRA and I’ll send you the next steps. Know better. Most women think the divorce fixes everything. It doesn’t. Divorce only ends the marriage. It does not end the financial relationship between you and your former spouse. Unless the property settlement is formally finalised - usually through Consent Orders or a Binding Financial Agreement - the door can remain open for a future claim. And that claim doesn’t just relate to the assets you had when you separated. It can reach into the life you build after. The house you buy later. The business you start. The super you grow. The investments you accumulate. I’ve seen women spend years rebuilding financially after separation… only to discover the legal door was never properly closed. The divorce certificate feels like the end. Legally, it often isn’t. And the longer it’s left unresolved, the messier - and more expensive - it can become. This is one of the most common mistakes I see after separation. Not because women are careless. Because no one explains the difference properly. 👉 If you’re separated or divorced and never formally finalised property settlement, this is something worth understanding sooner rather than later. Save this post so you remember. And if you know a woman rebuilding her life after separation, send it to her. It might protect everything she’s working so hard to rebuild. #divorcelawyer #divorce #divorcesupport #divorceadvice #legaladvice

Stop introducing your children to your new girlfriend/boyfriend before your #divorce is finalized. Just because you've moved on doesn't mean your kids have processed the breakup of their #family. It's not cute and you're not sticking it to your ex. You could be causing harm and impact their view on love, marriage and relationships. #monmouthcounty #divorcesupport #custody #attorney #asburypark
