DRI had my EMG on both my quad and hand today. My hand showed what we expected, but my quad… nothing. The doctor tried multiple ways to stimulate a response, but there was none.
Dr. Moore, my neurosurgeon, thought I was “done” with this chapter — but my neurologist isn’t finished. I’ve been referred back, and honestly, I feel disappointed and discouraged. I had hoped for progress, for signs of life, for movement forward.
But I’m learning that healing isn’t linear, and even in the silence of my quad, God is still at work in ways I can’t yet see.
