1. Pick ONE role (don’t mix):
→ Verification / RTL Design / Embedded / Analog
2. Study job descriptions (3–5 companies):
→ Look for repeating tools
(e.g. SystemVerilog, UVM, C++, Python, Cadence)
3. Learn ONLY what’s repeated
→ Don’t waste time on random topics
4. Build 1 strong, relevant project
→ Verification: testbench using UVM
→ Embedded: driver-level project
→ Design: simple processor / FSM
5. Fix your resume:
→ Add exact keywords from job descriptions
→ Put tools + projects at the top
→ Keep it easy to scan in 10 seconds
6. Don’t apply first — do this instead:
→ Find engineers in that role on LinkedIn
→ Ask about their work (keep it specific)
