This simple spring craft is a beautiful way to honor the shift into longer, warmer days and reset the energy of your space with natural ingredients that support and regulate the nervous system. I start by dehydrating multiple varieties of citrus. Once fully dried, I hand sew them, incorporating lava beads, and crystal beads that catch the light. I add a few drops of essential oil directly to both the citrus slices and lava beads, allowing the scent to slowly release as the sun warms them. For this project, I used three carefully selected essential oils from Anima Mundi Herbals that are especially suited for welcoming spring: 🌸 Ylang ylang – A lush, soft, and deeply floral oil, ylang ylang is valued for its calming effects on the nervous system. It can help reduce feelings of tension and promote emotional ease. 🌙 Night blooming jasmine – Warm and sensual, like the evening air after a spring day, jasmine is known for its uplifting properties. It supports mood regulation and helps maintain emotional balance. 🌹 Rose geranium – Bright and green, rose geranium is appreciated for its harmonizing qualities. It can provide grounding, stabilize emotions, and promote mental clarity. When applied to citrus slices and lava beads, the warmth of the sun gradually activates the oils, allowing their aromas to slowly diffuse into the surrounding space. Homemade nontoxic deodorant 👇🏼 ✨eliminates odor causing bacteria ✨naturally scented with essential oils ✨doesn’t stain my clothes or skin ✨saves me a TON of money long term ✨also used as a body spray for muscle soreness, cramps, stress & anxiety when increasing the magnesium ratio ✨and it’s completely natural :) - 1 cup distilled water (240mL) - 3 tbsp magnesium chloride flakes - 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar - 8 drops essential oil (optional) - 2 tbsp witch hazel (optional - I didn’t have any on hand but if you do, it contains additional antibacterial properties) If you apply on freshly shaved skin, it will tingle ! Make sure the distilled water is lukewarm so the magnesium easily dissolves when you mix everything together ! You can purchase distilled water or make your own, I just followed a tutorial online: Bring some water to boil, add a bowl inside the pot, place the lid on upside down, and add ice cubes on top. The steam from the boiling water will hit the cold lid and condenses back into pure liquid water that drips into the bowl. #deinfluencing #naturaldeodorant #homemadedeodorant

I call this my Morning Zen Scrub. Not only does it leave my skin SO soft and glowy, but the scent is heavenly and calms my mind going into my day. 🧘‍♀️ Update: I have received soooo many requests for the bamboo container I used. Comment CONTAINER below and I’ll send you link . 🥰 🌿 Morning Zen Body Scrub Ingredients: -3/4 cup fine Himalayan Pink salt or Celtic sea salt (finely ground) -3 tablespoons Shea butter (refined) -1/4 cup + 1-2 tablespoons Sweet Almond oil -15 drops Lavender essential oil -10 drops Rosemary essential oil -10 drops Clary sage essential oil -3 drops Vitamin E oil To make: -Melt shea butter in double boiler on low on stovetop. -Add 1/4 cup sweet almond oil and stir to combine. -Remove from heat and stir in essential oils and Vitamin E oil. -Pour in Himalayan pink salt and stir to combine. -Pour into jar or container to store. -Let sit for 1 hour in the refrigerator stirring occasionally . *This allows shea butter to cool and thicken. -After one hour, stir the scrub to assess texture. If you like a creamier scrub like I do (as shown here), stir in 1-2 additional tablespoons of almond oil. If you prefer a drier scrub, leave as is. To use: Apply a small amount of this body scrub to wet skin, gently massaging in small circular motions. Rinse off with warm water. Enjoy how soft, supple and glowy your skin is after! I use this 1-2 times a week. Shelf life is 12 months. Once you make your own body scrubs, you will never go back to store bought again 😉💛

Personally, I only use either vinegar or baking soda… But if you really need to use an actual laundry detergent, there are brands that only use natural ingredients… You can find which brands are healthy on the EWG website… Ideally, you want something with the smallest number of ingredients, fragrance-free, and made with essential oils… Avoid toxic laundry detergents and your quality of life will improve… Welcome to #theremembering 🏹

It might be sitting on top of your skin instead of absorbing. 🔴 You’re breaking out in new, small bumps or clogged pores. Your moisturizer could be too heavy or contain pore-clogging ingredients (comedogenic oils, butters, or silicones) that don’t agree with your skin. 🔴 It pills or rolls off when you apply serum or SPF. This is a sign of poor formulation compatibility — it’s not layering well with the rest of your routine. 🔴 Your skin looks oily but still feels dry or flaky. This often means your moisturizer lacks a good balance of humectants (to draw water in) and emollients/occlusives (to seal it in). You’re likely dehydrated. 🔴 It stings or causes redness when applied.
