ANAUTUMN FERTILIZING - Summer is just about over here in Australia and now is the perfect time to give all your plants a good feed. There’s about 8 - 10 weeks growing time left for most plants before growth slows heading into the winter.

ZXi didn’t buy any fertilizers last year & successfully grew crops like nitrogen loving corn!! to forage safely, avoid high traffic areas like roadsides, or places that spray chemicals :)

1. Harvest purple dead nettle & other “weeds”
2. Chop or cut into small pieces
3. Add to rain, or dechlorinated tap water
4. Sit in sun for 2-6 weeks, aerate every 1-2 days
5. Strain & dilute - 1 part fertilizer to 10 parts water (make sure your water for dilution is dechlorinated too, or all your hard work will PERISH)
