Yes, you get fast results but you can’t KEEP the results forever because you can’t keep doing extreme things forever. Whole30 is an example. Every January many people go to the extreme of doing Whole30 after overeating them during the holidays… But they can’t keep doing Whole30 beyond 30 days because it’s too rigid. If your goal is to become thin, healthy, strong and STAY there permanently, doing something temporary will never be the solution. finally lost 150lbs (naturally-GLP1 were not out yet when I lost). I finally realized a “diet” isn’t how to lose weight. It just made me “restrict” something-and not CHANGE something. To lose weight you have to manage CALORIES. The food you eat determines how you FEEL and your overall health. So I calculated MY calorie deficit number (realized I was able to eat a LOT more food than I realized), ate nutrient dense foods and stayed consistent. That required a few lifestyle changes in order to sustain the weight loss. If what you are doing, over and over….with no sustainable results-it’s time to switch it up.
