In my previous video, I explained why stacking is essential for macro. Today, I’ll show you how I do it. Shooting (Focus Bracketing): Modern cameras feature a dedicated focus bracketing mode. When I press the shutter button, the camera takes a series of shots, slightly shifting the focal plane each time. This results in a sequence of frames: the first focuses on the closest part of the subject, and the last on the furthest. Stitching (Focus Stacking): I import all the files into specialized software (Helicon Focus @helicon_focus ). The program analyzes every frame, selects only the sharp areas, and “stitches” them into a single file. This allows me to bypass the physical limits of the optics and achieve perfect detail across the entire subject. The Result: A single image with a massive depth of field that would be impossible to capture in a single shot, especially in macro. Hoy os enseñaré cómo lo hago. Captura (Focus Bracketing): Las cámaras modernas cuentan con un modo específico de horquillado de enfoque. Al pulsar el disparador, la cámara realiza una serie de capturas, desplazando ligeramente el plano de enfoque en cada una. El resultado es una secuencia de fotogramas: el primero enfoca la parte más cercana del objeto y el último, la más lejana. Procesado (Focus Stacking): Importo todos los archivos originales a un software especializado (Helicon Focus @helicon_focus ). El programa analiza cada toma, selecciona únicamente las zonas nítidas y las “fusiona” en un solo archivo. Esto permite superar las limitaciones físicas de la óptica y obtener una nitidez perfecta en todo el sujeto. Resultado: Una sola imagen con una profundidad de campo enorme, imposible de conseguir de forma convencional, especialmente en macro.
