Wow - Busy Time for Music at FCC! Well done to our music students for all their recent hard work. We had our School Choir perform at The Big Sing earlier this month - a local event for primary and secondary schools. We had our Spring Concert last Wednesday where we had a fantastic showcase of FCC musical talent including our Big Band, Wind Band, Choir, Pianists, Guitar Students and Singers. And then last night we had our Choir perform at the Worthing Pavilion, as part of the West Sussex Youth Choir. Students have been working hard this term learning 'The Waters Diviner's Tale' - a classical piece based around environmentalism. The video is the rehearsal from yesterdays Youth Choir.

Today marks an exciting milestone for Year 4 as they take to the stage for their very first year group concert. This concert is part of our commitment to giving every year group, from Year 4 upwards, their own unique concert experience, allowing pupils to shine in a way that celebrates their individuality and talents. Performing at an early age helps to build confidence, resilience and a genuine love of performing, encouraging children to step outside their comfort zones. What makes this occasion even more special is that every child is involved, not only as performers, but also as announcers, stage managers, technicians and even roadies. By taking ownership of everything from staging and technology to welcoming the audience, the children gain valuable teamwork skills and a real sense of pride in their shared achievement. Well done Year 4!

Last night’s Spring Concert in College Hall was a truly special celebration of music, talent and community. 🎶 A packed College Hall was filled with a real sense of pride and joy as families gathered to watch our pupils perform. From uplifting songs to beautifully played instrumental pieces, the evening showcased a wonderful range of music and the incredible dedication of our Prep pupils.
