But did you know that it also plays a role in your body’s insulin release? ⁠ ⁠ When you eat late at night, melatonin levels are elevated, which in turn suppresses insulin release.⁠ ⁠ Now, what does this mean for you? It means that the carbs you eat at night stay in your bloodstream for too long, which creates advanced glycation end products (AGEs) that can age you prematurely. 😱⁠ ⁠ But don’t worry, there’s a solution! 😀⁠ ⁠ You can prevent these harmful effects by sticking to an early eating window and avoiding food before bed.
