Summited Mount Everest 🤯🏔️ — without supplementary oxygen. A rare and extraordinary achievement that represents the absolute limit of human endurance, discipline, and mental strength. Above 8,000 m, every breath is earned — and only a few in history have ever done it this way. This is Everest in its purest form. ✅ Are you planning to Climb Mount Everest – Top of the World one day? ✅ Or planning the Everest Base Camp Trek 2025/26? 🟩 Everest Base Camp Trek – 14 Days 🟩 Follow the legendary trail to the foot of the world’s highest mountain. 📸: @david_goettler ℹ️ Info: @trektonepalofficial summit Everest without oxygen, Mount Everest no oxygen climb, David Goettler Everest, Everest without supplementary oxygen, Everest death zone, climb Mount Everest, Everest expedition, Everest Base Camp Trek, Everest Base Camp Trek 2025, Everest climbing history #MountEverest, #EverestWithoutOxygen, #NoOxygenClimb, #EverestSummit, #ClimbEverest, #Everest8848, #TopOfTheWorld, #EverestExpedition, #DeathZone, #Above8000m, #Himalayas, #NepalTrekking, #EverestBaseCamp, #EverestBaseCampTrek, #ExtremeAdventure, #HighAltitude, #MountainLegends, #ExploreNepal

For those who think that Climbing Sherpas and oxygen decide everything on Mount Everest — this is a reminder. Climbing Sherpas can support you. Oxygen can assist you. But neither can carry you down from every altitude. Above certain heights, especially in the Death Zone, rescue becomes physically impossible — no matter how much money is involved. Sometimes the only direction available is forward, step by step, if strength allows. Tragically, not everyone returned home from the 2025 expedition season. Some bodies will be brought down. Some will remain on the mountain forever. Mountains are an element. They do not recognize status, followers, sponsorships, or the balance in your bank account. At altitude, everyone is equal. The most important skill is not strength — it is awareness. Listen to your body. Respect turnaround times. Do not ignore safety protocols. When you push beyond your limits, you endanger not only yourself but also the Sherpas and climbers who move behind you. Too often I have seen exhausted climbers continuing upward without asking themselves: Why am I weak? Where is my clarity? What is happening to my body? Responsibility lies with you — and with your guide. But sometimes even a guide may lack the experience or authority to look a client in the eye and say: “Stop. It’s dangerous to go higher.” If you pay attention to these realities, you increase your chances of returning on your own feet. I pay tribute to those who remained on the mountain. May they rest in peace. And to those preparing for big mountains — remember: The summit is only halfway. #everestexpeditionsnepal #everest2025 #mounteverest #deathzone #8000ers #himalaya #climbresponsibly #highaltitude #mountainsafety #nepalexpedition

It is not the altitude that makes you tired. It is the lack of oxygen. As you climb higher, every step comes with less oxygen, even when your breathing feels the same. Fatigue increases, your heart works harder, and your body slowly adapts to survive. At altitude, the strongest is not the fastest. It is the one who listens to their body, respects acclimatization, and moves with patience. More altitude means less oxygen. More respect means a better mountain experience. The mountain is not conquered. It is understood. #highaltitude #mountainwisdom #trekkinglife

The side of mountaineering nobody talks about: Menstruation + High Altitude 🏔️ When a woman climbs while on her period, her body is working twice as hard. At high altitude, there’s less oxygen in the air. The body already has to work harder to deliver oxygen to the muscles just to keep moving. Now add menstruation. During your period, you lose blood — and with it, iron. Iron is essential for hemoglobin, the molecule that carries oxygen around the body. Less iron = less oxygen getting to your muscles. So while climbing at altitude: • Oxygen levels are already lower • Your body is fighting fatigue from hypoxia • And menstruation can reduce oxygen delivery even further Cold temperatures and low oxygen can also make cramps feel stronger and increase lower back and abdominal pain. Fatigue can come faster. Focus and decision-making can feel harder. This isn’t weakness. It’s physiology. And yet — women still climb. Still adapt. Still summit. If a woman can reach the top while on her period, imagine what she’s capable of the rest of the month. 🏔️💪 #mountain #womanmountaineer #mountaineering
