In light of World Mental Health Awareness month in 2021, @asa_magazine_ started an open, ongoing conversation about mental health, to start peeling back the layers we often hide behind. We can ALL learn, and ALL need to reframe mental health in some way or another - whether for ourselves or for those around us who need support and even intervention.
We were approached as @theimpacthub to collaborate and support this cause and we immediately accepted!
Some of our members added their voices to the campaign, and pushed the sales of the limited-edition #FaceYourFacade hoodies-that-heal, incorporating an original artwork designed by @samurai_farai. These were sold as part of our awareness campaign.
The aim?
To raise awareness and support for mental wellness.
All proceeds of the sales have successfully gone to the @sadag_official 🙏

EL ESPAÑOL de Málaga organizó este pasado lunes su XXXVIII Encuentro Tecnológico con la colaboración de Cervezas Victoria e Impact Hub. La temática era clara: “La tecnología aplicada a los recursos humanos”.
Participaron tres grandes expertos como Mar Aguado, directora de RRHH de Giants y Atlas Informática; Curro Marcos, director de RRHH de Idiliq Group; y Mamen Blanco, CEO de Inteligencia Artificial y Talento Academy y autora del libro Chat GPT para RRHH.

🎷 The Soulitude Urban Expressions est un festival pluridisciplinaire fondé à Genève en 2016, dédié à la célébration de la culture soul et de son influence à travers le monde. Alliant musique, art et esprit communautaire, il propose des concerts intimistes et des rencontres entre talents émergents, artistes légendaires et public. Porté par une passion profonde pour la soul et la black music, le collectif SOULITUDE œuvre depuis plus de trente ans à faire rayonner cette culture.

⚛️ The Peace Particle : un documentaire inédit sur l’histoire et le futur du CERN. Réalisé à l’occasion du septantième anniversaire du CERN, ce documentaire écrit et réalisé par Alex Kiehl, combine poésie, musique et images d’archives rares, ainsi qu’un accès privilégié au LHC (Grand collisionneur de hadrons), montrant ainsi comment le CERN est né des ruines de la guerre et continue de promouvoir la paix à travers la science, aujourd’hui et demain. En anglais, sous-titré en français.

🪄 Abracadabra est un atelier-spectacle pour enfants, animé par Maud Bessard-Morandas ou Aurélie Brémond. Il raconte l’histoire d’une gentille sorcière passionnée de chant qui, avec l’aide des enfants et de son apprenti, tente de faire revivre la magie au théâtre. Les participants découvrent l’opéra à travers des formules magiques et des interactions ludiques, le tout sur des airs de compositeurs comme Purcell, Offenbach, Mozart et Grieg.

MAOn this #InternationalDayOfCharity, we wanted to share a recent activity involving our Global Operations Leadership team during their annual conference. Our colleagues were challenged with assembling bicycles for the local community. The bikes were donated to our community investment partner, @evergreencanada, and will support their learn-to-bike program. #ManulifeImpact
Video Description: This group is putting together bikes. They're going to be donated to one of our community investment partners, Evergreen Canada. Evergreen is an amazing nonprofit organization. We actually support a bike program that they have there, which is a learn to bike program. Newcomers, children, anyone that really has never ridden a bike can come together and learn and it gets them outside exercising, the whole bit. So, this crew are putting together the bikes. They then have to pitch them as a collaboration and a group exercise, and the winners will receive $100 into their Impact Hub, where they can donate that back to a charity of their choice. Not everyone has the privilege of owning and riding a bike and we're going to make that happen. Bike Power!
