Want more clients in 2026? Tony Robbins says you need these 2 characteristics: In fact, he screens all of his salespeople for them. 1.) The ability to deal with rejection But how do you build the skill of rejection acceptance? In a previous post, I shared Steven Bartlett’s “Failure KPIs.” The idea? Adjust your goals from achieving successes to achieving a certain number of failures. For example: ❌Close 10 clients ✅Get rejected on 10 calls ❌Get 10 positive email responses ✅Get 100 negative email responses As a result, you feel a sense of accomplishment from being rejected. Therefore, you learn to love rejection. 2.) Warmth and compassion for the other person But how do you actually build “warmth” as a character trait? The most practical way to show compassion is to implement the Gap Selling method. This is a book by Keenan that I read. And no joke, it changed my life. Using this framework, I learned to love selling. The idea is that this is how you structure a sales call: 1. Identify their problems 2. Offer a solution to their problems (via your service) It forces you to listen to them… It forces you to understand their problems… And then, you simply provide a solution to those problems. That is (tactically) how you show “warmth.” So if you want to close more clients in 2026, use these two tips from Tony Robbins. P.S.
