JOWhy look, it’s the upcoming Lexus LFR! I caught this thing running around Angeles Crest along with an AMG GT. Both were wedged between to Toyota Sequoias.
From what I know, this is a front-engine hybrid. Think twin-turbo V8 plus at least one motor. If it they’re running it around with what I’m sure is the 800 horsepower AMG GT63 e-Performance that could mean similar power levels. 600 from ice + 200 from EV feels sorta on target.
Visually, this has zero to do with the RC F. It’s a brand new supercar platform. Google “Lexus GR GT3.” When it shows up in 2026, figure a starting price of around $185K.
And Lexus, next time bring along a Porsche GT3. Or at least a Turbo. Hint, hint.
