LIBREAKING NEWS: The Balloon Museum is opening a permanent location in NYC 🎈🎈🎈
Big News for NYC! The Balloon Museum, the immersive experience centered on balloons and inflatable exhibits, will be floating into the Tin Building space in the Seaport District in Summer 2026. No longer just a POP-up, the Tin Building will serve as the Balloon Museum’s U.S. flagship, and will be a permanent space and museum, taking over 50,000 square feet.
First launched in Italy in 2021, and following exhibits in 23 cities across the globe, the Balloon Museum is now calling NYC home. This location will be a permanent space and will present a completely original exhibition featuring newly commissioned works by internationally renowned artists.
WHERE: 📍Pier 17, NYC. (Taking over the Tin Building which has now closed).
WHEN: ⏰ Opening Summer 2026.
GOOD TO KNOW: 📕 This location will be a permanent space and the flagship location for the United States. The contract calls for a minimum of 5 years (with options to extend).
