TOOasis performed Live Forever on MTV’s Most Wanted at MTV Studios in Camden, London on 18 August 1994, delivering a more intimate, acoustic-leaning take on one of their early breakthrough tracks.
With Liam and Noel Gallagher joined by Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, the stripped-back setup gave the song a raw edge, very different from the loud, electric arena versions they were becoming known for that same year.
Written by Noel Gallagher and released on their debut album Definitely Maybe, “Live Forever” became their first UK Top 10 single and a defining anthem of 90s Britpop.
