So my last workflow video went a bit crazy, so let’s push the actual craft forward a bit.� Part 1 was basic shapes. Part 2 is stylized 3D characters.� First, I built out a system to generate stylised 3D heads from photos. Then I animated some basic shapes in After Effects to match, focusing on perfect key frame timing. Then using Kling reference video to video, I used the image and the after effects comp together to create my final animations. I put the workflow in my bio. If you have foundational After Effects skills and an understanding of motion principles, you already have a massive unfair advantage. You don’t need to spend years mastering C4D or Blender lighting setups anymore. You just need to build structural black-and-white mattes, curate high-level reference images for your look-dev, and let Kling handle the heavy lifting through your node graph.
