How to make an edible heart shaped box:
🩷 Melt Pink Candy Melts and use a small decorating brush to add a layer to the inside of the heart shaped cookie cutter, let set and then add another layer
🩷 Set the cookie cutter onto a sheet of parchment paper and add more pink candy melts to the center, spread them out so that the bottom is coated, let set in the freezer for 10 minutes then carefully push the heart out of the cutter
🩷 Use the same cookie cutter to cut a piece of cake and gently press it into the Candy Melts heart box
🩷 Add a thin layer of chocolate buttercream to the top of the cake followed by a thin layer of chocolate ganache then let the ganache set slightly
To make the chocolates
🍫 Use Light or Dark Cocoa Candy Melts and White Candy Melts to pipe small dots and oval shapes onto a sheet of parchment paper, let them set, and then decorate the top with different colored swirls or use Red Candy Melts to pipe heart shapes
🍫 Dust some with edible gold and silver shimmer if desired
🍫 When the mini chocolates are set, add them on top of the chocolate ganache covered cake
To make the lid
❤️ Add a layer of melted Pink Candy Melts onto a sheet of parchment paper and sit the heart-shaped cookie cutter on top, let it set, and then transfer to the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes
❤️ When removed from the freezer, the lid should easily push out of the cutter.
❤️ Use white buttercream and piping tip #46 to pipe a line across the lid then use piping tip 70 to add a bow 🎀
