✨️ Mini button book Tutorial by @woodlark ✨️ Says the artist: mini button notebooks 💛 whimsical and perfect for tiny drawings, paintings or for attaching tiny treasures. I used an accordion fold for the inside papers so that they’re easy to make and don’t require any special binding skills. I added small pressed botanicals that we grew in our garden in my original one for my oldest and this year made one for my daughter to save for her when she’s older! Materials: a pair of buttons, scrap paper (I’m using a heavyweight drawing paper), glue Instructions: - Fold a long strip of paper back and forth into equal sections (accordion fold) to create the inside pages. Make sure that the width when folded is slightly less than the width of the buttons and that you have an even number of pages. - Trace the button and cut out the pages. Make sure to leave a portion of the seam intact on both sides. I also made the overall dimensions of the pages slightly smaller than the covers so that they don’t spill over the sides. - Glue the first page onto the inside of the front cover, then the last page onto the inside of the back cover. . #lowwaste #upcycledcrafts #mininotebook #diynotebook #minicollage #tinyart #tinyart #analogcollage #collage #collageanalógico #collagemaker #driedflowerart #upcycle

When art journaling or hobbies feel too big, I shrink the project down to just one inch collages at a time! Inspired by @junk_journalism beautiful collages. Go check out that page!! Materials: • One inch paper punch • Glue stick • Small month calendar page • Paper from my day such as junk mail, receipts, notes, magazine scraps, packaging, or little keepsakes Here is what I do: I pick something from my day that feels meaningful. I punch out a one inch square. I glue it into my mini month calendar. That’s it! One tiny square a day builds into a visual story of the month. It is playful, grounding, and perfect for overthinkers, neurodivergent minds, and anyone who loves small creative wins!
