I don’t hate anything made after 1980, I like a mix but I am definitely drawn to vintage, especially the art deco period. A lot of my new things have that look and I never buy anything ultra modern, it’s just not my style.
I do like that old saying “they don’t make them like they used to” and definitely think furniture especially was built to last and so robust back in the day.
