DOA laser mosquito gadget that looks straight out of sci-fi is starting to go viral.
Photon Matrix uses LiDAR-style scanning to spot mosquitoes mid-air, track their movement, and hit them with ultra-fast laser targeting in milliseconds. Claims say it can neutralize up to 30 mosquitoes per second in controlled conditions.
It comes in versions with roughly a 3 m active range or a 6 m range, runs portable on a power-bank style setup, and is aimed at indoor spaces and patios. No chemicals, no sprays, no coils, just precision tracking and targeting.
With mosquito-borne diseases still causing hundreds of thousands of deaths each year worldwide, it makes sense that tech like this is getting serious attention.
