Read Caption...⬇️ All INDIA Party Meeting 🔥🇮🇳 The Central government on Wednesday held an all-party meeting around 5pm over the ongoing West Asia conflict that was triggered after Israel, US jointly attacked Iran on Saturday, 28 February. >>During the meeting, the government said that more India-bound ships would cross the Strait of Hormuz soon, reported HT citing a leader present who spoke on condition of anonymity.The government also emphasised that protecting people amid the conflict remains the main focus. “We don’t know how long war will go on but our main focus is to protect people,” it said.With respect to domestic gas production, the government said that the production was up to 60% a rise from the 28% that was reported at the start of the conflict. >>Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar, Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri were present at the meeting, news agency ANI said.Leaders from other parties, including Sasmit Patra (BJD), Lallan Singh (JDU), Mukul Wasnik, and Tariq Anwar, Dharmendra Yadav from SP, and John Brittas from CPI(M), were also in attendance, as per news agencies. >>The meeting was held amid escalating tensions in West Asia, which have disrupted critical maritime corridors and raised concerns about the safety of Indian nationals in Gulf nations.The all-party meeting followed after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address to Parliament on the situation in West Asia. In his statement in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, PM Modi said the government has constituted seven empowered groups to develop strategies on fuel, supply chains and fertilisers, among others, to mitigate the impact of the Iran-Israel-US conflict.
