Newly opened in Vic Park 🍨✨ @homm_dessert_au is the newest spot to hit Vic Park and it’s a dangerous one if you love sweets. We ordered the Thai tea avalanche bingsu and the Coconut Pandan Shokupan, with the Shokupan being the clear favourite. Soft and fluffy with a fragrant pandan aroma, balanced by creamy coconut and a subtle salty note, it was so moreish I’ll definitely be back just for that 🤍🍞🥥 For drinks, we went with the Twilight and Nom Yen, both super refreshing alongside the desserts. Portions here are huge and definitely made for sharing, so fair warning… you might want to skip dinner before coming 😅 #perthdesserts #newopening #perthfood #perthcafe #perthfoodie

That chicken katsu sando lives in my head rent-free 🤭 @yugennocafe_nedlands Yūgen-no Cafe opened its doors in Nedlands earlier this year and have since been perfecting their menu of cozy Japanese brunches and drinks. From DELICIOUS sandos to single-piece nigiri available at the display cabinet, the cafe promises a cozy and comfy brunch experience with mouthwateringly beautiful bites. The Chicken Katsu Sando and Signature Matcha Latte were my favourite orders of the day (I’m not exaggerating- the sando was SO GOOD). 📍 Pearl Grill & Hotpot, Morley @pearlgrillandhotpot SAVE this for… all you can eat hotpot and barbecue! 🚨 Prices have now been raised after soft opening - $78 for regular seating and $68 for early bird special 🚨 I’m pretty psyched that the all-you-can-eat buffet is making a comeback, and this one in Morley was a winner. Their AYCE buffet includes a hot pot broth of your choosing (larger tables get an individual hot pot per person, while booth tables get two broths to share) and grill for barbecuing, with a buffet for meat, seafood, veggies, appetisers (including a sushi and sashimi station), canned drinks, slushies and desserts. They’ve got early bird prices if you arrive before 5:15 and our sitting was for two hours - more than enough time to try a bit of everything. Check out @pearlgrillandhotpot for details. Perth CBD’s newest Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles spot @risorisoricenoodle has only been open for two weeks, but it has already become one of my reasons to visit the city again 🍜 This authentic Yunnan-style restaurant specialises in the famous Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles, with signature, seafood and wagyu sets to choose from. Everything arrives beautifully presented and you can cook the ingredients yourself in the steaming hot broth — or let the friendly staff help you. And don’t worry about the portion size, because extra rice noodles and rice are free, so you can really enjoy the soup to the fullest. The restaurant is clean, modern and surprisingly thoughtful — they even provide little freebies like floss picks and hair ties on table. Small details like this make the experience even nicer. One thing to note: because it’s still in soft opening, the queues can get quite long. We actually came once and the soup had already sold out! So if you want to try it, it’s best to plan ahead and go early. I personally loved the soup and the noodles, and my son finished three bowls of the kids’ rice noodles, which also makes this a very family-friendly spot. Definitely a place I’ll come back to. #perthfoodette
