Il vaut mieux arroser moins que trop, c'est la base avec les plantes vertes en général 🤓 J'applique toujours ce principe 🪴 Malheureusement avec l'hypoestes, ça n'a pas marché, et la dernière que j'ai eue n'a pas duré longtemps 🙈 Normal, puisqu'elle semble très gourmande en eau ! 💦 Alors cette fois j'ai décidé de faire autrement, et donc de l'arroser plus souvent. Mais j'ai remarqué que, rien qu'au bout de 3 jours, elle en redemandait et ses feuilles s'affaissaient déjà ! 😲 (signe qu'elle avait soif) Alors j'ai trouvé l'astuce ☝️ tous les 2 ou 3 jours, je lui mets un peu d'eau dans le fond de son cache pot, pour que ses racines puissent toujours boire. I always say the same thing - when it's an online shop, @beardsanddaisies is my go to (if you've ever asked me you'll know) 🧡 . Now this is mainly because I started my own plant journey with Beards and Daisies 2 years ago. I bought 3 plants for the house (a Peace Lily, Parlour Palm and Golden Pothos) and they were so beautiful, and still are, even after this dark old winter! 💕 . So when they asked if I wanted to work with them I was over the moon and jumped at the chance! 😍 . So today I'm showing you my new house member which adds a fabulous tropical vibe to this corner! . This stunning Bird of Paradise is about 120cm tall and I've wanted one of these for as long as I can remember. Now I always thought it was hard to care for - I'm talking Calathea level drama .... But, they are great for beginners , and are nice and easy to manage. They love: ✔️ plenty of natural light (apparently east facing is best!) ✔️ a little mist (if you fancy) ✔️ a warmish room with space to grow After a little living room reshuffle I've found it's forever place in my reading nook ❤️🌿 . What do you guys think?
